Eye am relieved

The story behind that lame and enigmatic pun: Recently Meltem's mom went to her eye doctor and he told her she had cataracts and needed an operation. Now cataract operations apparently aren't a big deal, but who on earth wants to have someone poking around inside their eyeballs, no matter how advanced a medical age we may live in?! Ever the sensible one, Meltem's mom went to another eye doctor for a second opinion – and he said there was nothing wrong at all! So this morning the ladies of the family went together to an eye hospital to get our beloved patient looked at by the doctor who looked at me last time I had a checkup, a woman we like and trust. And her verdict was: Nothing wrong. Yay! In celebration, Meltem's mom is going to pick up some snazzy new frames for her glasses.
