All checked up

Yesterday was Ozan's 9-month "birthday," so Meltem took him to the pediatrician for a checkup. I would have come, but I was busy teaching. All is well with the tyke. He didn't grow much in the last month, but he had enjoyed a growth spurt the month before so we're still on a normal track. As I suspected, too, he's got impressive leg strength. What's impressive as well is his budding attitude. Apparently he has decided he doesn't like the pediatrician, so he hollers bloody murder when she handles him, and even when she talks to him he won't look at her. All this is amusing as all get-out to me, of course, but we'll see whether I sing a different tune when he tries to pull it on me. Not that he ever will, of course!
